Executive Inn Lottery Update

Work is progressing on the closing of the sale of the Executive Inn. There are many legal documents that have to be finalized to complete it. We, too, wish this could all be finished, and hope that soon we can announce that it is all final.

Last week I met with Bill Parsons, President of Space Coast Hospitality Management Services, who is buying the hotel, and Chef Tim Creehan, who will be managing all of the food services at the hotel during our event. Here is a link where you can meet Chef Creehan: http://www.beachwalkcafe.com/aboutus/timcreehan.html . He is excited to plan food for our special events, for the restaurants in the hotel, and also outside near the barbeque and strawberry shortcakes. I have the Chef's cookbook, Simple Cuisine, and I can't wait to taste some of his culinary handiwork.

Also, those of you who participated in the room lottery at the Executive Inn will be contacted soon by staff from the Space Coast office. We are forwarding them all of the cancelled checks that you have sent to AQS. If you had a check cashed for this lottery and have not sent a copy of it to AQS, please do so immediately. You can e-mail a copy of the both the front and back of your cancelled check to: sylvia@AQSquilt.com, or mail it to Sylvia Thomas, AQS, PO Box 3290, Paducah, KY 42002-3290.
