Paducah Registration is Now OPEN & Executive Inn News

The Paducah registration is now open! Just click on the title of this post and it will take you directly to the online registration site.

This morning opened the link for online registration for the 25th Anniversary AQS Quilt Show & Contest in Paducah, Kentucky, April 22 - 25, 2009.

Update on the Executive Inn: The final closing is going to be this week, and work will begin on hotel rooms next week. When the new owners take over next week, they will go through the reservations to determine the status of everyone who has paid for rooms at the Executive Inn and will be in contact with you. Thank you for being so patient with this whole process. We want you to come to Paducah and enjoy an exciting 25th anniversary with AQS.

I just tried to register online, and there was no guide to print off, just sequential pages of available workshops. I spent 30 minutes working my way through all the pages, ticking what I wanted, but when I got to the end I couldn't submit the form. There was no payment option, no submit option or anything. Then the form hung. When I tried to contact a human being, there is no contact number on the AQS website!! Now I don't know if I am registered or not.

ShinyNewThing: We just opened the online registration this morning, and our Webmaster has been working on it today. We have a lot more information to be loaded that includes the printable version of the Registration Guide. We'll have it all up there soon.
Thank you for being patient while we get it all uploaded. There are some things we can't check until we make it live. We're working out those bugs now.

It's rather hard to get excited about next year's show when I still don't know if I lost close to $600 on the Executive Inn scandel or not. It seems like we are always being told that it will be resolved "next week". It's been 3 weeks since we were last told that...is there any news?????
